Lane’s End L’autre (The other ) Pinot Noir is our second label Pinot Noir.

Plum/prune, red and dark fruits, spice and woodsy, meaty components meld together with French oak. The palate is silky smooth and leads to a prolonged finish.

Alc 12.5%

This wine is mostly destemmed and then made similarly to our first label Pinot Noir (wild yeast ferment-open tank) and with a 15% whole bunch input. It is usually on skins for around 15 days.The wine is then matured for ten months in French oak barriques ( 25 % new ) prior to bottling.

Added complexity will occur with cellaring over the next 5+ years.
